Freekeh is an ancient grain made from young green wheat—specifically the heritage Karakılçık variety—harvested while still green and full of nutrients. It is then gently roasted over open flames using olive leaves, giving it a distinctive smoky flavour. The grain is later rubbed, separated, and milled using traditional stone mills for texture and nutritional integrity

Our freekeh is produced on Meriç Farm, a traditional family-run farm located 700 metres above sea level in the highlands of Altınözü, Hatay—part of the Fertile Crescent, the birthplace of agriculture.
