Bulgur is a wholesome grain made by parboiling and drying cracked wheat. Our bulgur is produced from the ancient Karakılçık wheat varietyâan heirloom grain that has retained its genetic purity for centuries. Naturally rich in fibre, protein, and minerals, Karakılçık wheat offers a low glycaemic index and superior nutritional content compared to modern wheat. The grains are slowly dried and then milled using traditional stone mills, preserving their natural texture and nutrient integrity.

Our bulgur comes from Meriç Farm, a traditional family-run farm located 700 metres above sea level in the highlands of AltınözĂŒ, Hatayâa part of the Fertile Crescent, the historic birthplace of agriculture. Surrounded by forests and nourished by a highland climate, the farm preserves traditional growing and processing methods, ensuring both the flavour and health benefits of every grain.
